This is why it’s important to identify where the dysfunction is happening, reduce the stress on the digestive organs that are overburdened, and support each organ with good nutrition and lifestyle practices so they can perform their best.

If one step in the sequence isn’t working optimally, it will throw off or add an additional burden to every other step in the process. That means MORE energy is required and being tied up in digestion.
There’s a lot of places digestion can go wrong, unfortunately. BUT once you know the different steps of digestion, you can identify where you need to focus on healing.
